Marketing at TRACTIAN

The Tractian Marketing team bridges the gap between our innovative products and the technical audience we serve, combining Growth, Branding, and Product Marketing to reach and resonate with both prospects and customers.
Our team collaborates deeply with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to ensure our visual identity and messaging reflect Tractian expertise and commitment to operational excellence.

What will you do

As a Videomaker, you will turn Tractian’s products, customers, people, and ideas into stories people actually want to watch. You’ll own video from concept to final cut, combining strong storytelling with hands-on production craft across campaigns, product launches, customer stories, events, social, and high-visibility brand moments.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks like a filmmaker, not just a camera operator or editor. Tractian is building something tangible, global, and genuinely different in an industry that rarely gets described as exciting. We want someone ambitious enough to help us change that and help make Tractian the sexiest industrial technology brand in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Translate company positioning, product strategy, and customer stories into video concepts with a clear narrative, point of view, and reason to exist.
  • Own productions end to end, from creative concept, treatment, scripting, shot planning, and pre-production through filming, editing, sound, color, delivery, and versioning.
  • Create films and content that change perception of Tractian, making complex industrial technology feel understandable, relevant, and genuinely exciting.
  • Bring strong cinematography and visual-direction judgment to the work: framing, lighting, camera movement, pacing, sound, color, and the details that make a production feel intentional.
  • Raise the audiovisual quality bar across Brazil, Mexico, and the U.S., creating work that feels consistent with one global brand while adapting intelligently to each story and market.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Product Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, and leadership to turn ambiguous business problems into strong video ideas and executable productions.
  • Build repeatable production standards, workflows, and asset-management practices so the team can move fast without losing quality, context, or footage along the way.
  • Go beyond the brief. Learn the product, ask technical questions, understand the customer and business context, and use that knowledge to make the creative stronger.
  • Judge the work by what it does, not only how it looks: whether it earns attention, explains the product, changes perception, supports demand, or helps the business move.
  • Work effectively with internal creatives, freelancers, production partners, agencies, and stakeholders through clear briefs, references, feedback, and decisive production management.
  • Push the production workflow forward with AI, using new tools to improve research, ideation, pre-production, image and video generation, editing, iteration, and speed without lowering the creative bar.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, filmmaking, cinematography, editing, creative production, or a closely related discipline.
  • A strong reel or portfolio is required. We care much more about the quality of your work, your taste, your thinking, and what you actually owned than about a specific academic background.
  • Meaningful in-house experience is required. We are not looking for someone whose entire career has been freelance or agency-only. You need to understand what it means to build creative quality from inside a company over time.
  • Excellent visual storytelling and filmmaking judgment, with the ability to turn a business or communication objective into a concept, narrative, shot plan, and final piece.
  • Strong technical command of camera, lenses, lighting, audio, composition, directing, editing, sound design, and color, with high standards across the full production process.
  • Strong hands-on craft. You can personally develop concepts, shoot, direct, edit, and make a piece materially better instead of depending on other people for every production step.
  • We don’t see creative work as art for art’s sake. We care about real impact. If you get excited about turning great video into stronger perception, demand, and ultimately revenue, you’ll probably love it here.
  • Comfort with direct feedback, fast iteration, and changing constraints. You can defend a creative decision with rationale without tying your ego to the work, and you can change direction quickly when needed.
  • Highly curious, proactive, and self-directed. You do not wait for the perfect brief; you ask questions, find context, identify gaps, and push the work forward.
  • Extremely organized. You can manage timelines, footage, files, versions, feedback, stakeholders, travel, equipment, and multiple productions without losing control of the details.
  • We’re obsessed with improving the creative workflow with AI. We expect real fluency with Claude and modern AI video/image tools such as Veo, Runway, Kling, or related platforms for research, ideation, pre-visualization, generation, iteration, and getting to better work faster.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with ambitious timelines, high-visibility projects, and direct collaboration with global stakeholders. English must be strong enough for that daily collaboration.

Bonus Points

  • Experience across more than one creative environment, such as in-house plus agency, studio, or freelance work. Variety is valuable; in-house experience is still mandatory.
  • Experience producing content for a global or U.S.- focused brand, including productions across different markets, cultures, or locations.
  • Experience in B2B, technology, industrial, automotive, hardware, or another category where complex or physical products need to be made clear and compelling.
  • Motion design, animation, 3D, VFX, photography, drone, or other complementary image-making skills that expand what you can create yourself.
  • You’ve built or meaningfully improved AI-powered video workflows, not just generated a few clips when someone reminded you AI exists.
  • Experience creating customer stories, product films, brand campaigns, documentaries, launch content, or other narrative-driven work beyond short-form social production.
