Operations at TRACTIAN

The operations team is responsible for turning our IoT devices into reality. We strive to make the impossible possible and are deeply goal-oriented. We integrate hardware, production, quality, and supply and we're in charge of the whole manufacturing process of our hardware, from the purchase of components to the final adapting of our devices to meet strict international criteria.

What you'll do

As a Procurement Analyst at Tractian, you'll be responsible for efficiently executing purchasing activities as part of the Supply Chain team. Your responsibilities will range from creating purchase orders to negotiating with local suppliers, ensuring alignment with requesting areas, and monitoring supplier performance. Additionally, you'll focus on ensuring product and service compliance while optimizing the speed of execution and delivery of these items.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new suppliers, including negotiating products and services.

  • Execute routine purchases, input orders into the SAP system, and monitor the delivery of negotiated items.

  • Serve as the interface between suppliers and internal requesting areas.

  • Ensure shared suppliers are effectively managed.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track supplier performance, continuously driving improvements in cost, lead times, and quality.

  • Identify and escalate issues that may impact Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with procurement processes and supporting tools, including tax knowledge, negotiation skills, and the sourcing process.

  • Experience in negotiating supplier contracts.

  • Experience in ensuring compliance with procurement.

  • Practical experience related to the indirect material category.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or Engineering.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with ERP SAP B1 or similar.

  • Experience with negotiating Marketing and Facilities items.

  • Advanced English.
