What You’ll Do

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the team of Account Executives (AEs), ensuring they meet established sales goals and continuously develop their skills. This manager oversees the performance of AEs by tracking sales metrics and implementing improvement plans when necessary. Additionally, they actively participate in the most strategic and complex deals, providing support in negotiations to secure large accounts. The Regional Sales Manager directly contributes to optimizing sales operations and coaching AEs to maximize both individual and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor the daily performance of Account Executives (AEs), ensuring sales goals are met.

  • Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions with AEs, identifying improvement areas and implementing strategies to optimize performance.

  • Engage directly in strategic negotiations and high-value deals, supporting AEs and contributing to closing key accounts.

  • Ensure all AEs properly utilize CRM tools, maintaining an up-to-date and well-managed sales pipeline.

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve sales efficiency, focusing on consistent results and exceeding targets.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product, to align sales strategies with TRACTIAN’s objectives.

  • Lead team performance meetings, analyzing sales metrics and reports to identify improvement and growth opportunities.

  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new AEs, ensuring high performance levels are maintained from the start.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineer, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing sales teams, ideally in a B2B or technology-focused environment.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with hands-on experience in deal negotiation and closing.

  • Strong skills in data analysis, CRM management (e.g., Salesforce), and pipeline optimization.

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with experience in conducting performance reviews and feedback sessions.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to drive sales success.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and skilled in managing a high-performance sales team in a fast-paced environment.
