What you'll do

As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible to be the technical authority for our team, guaranteeing the stability, security, and efficiency of our entire environment and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to expert and escalation point for our ~400 users, resolving complex Tier 2/3 technical challenges across hardware, software, and networks.

  • Own and manage our IT infrastructure, including networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN), servers, and telecommunications.

  • Administer our Google Workspace environment in partnership with the IAM team to ensure seamless productivity and security.

  • Master our mixed-OS environment, providing expert-level support for both Windows and macOS systems.

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices, managing endpoint security (EDR), firewalls, and data backup and recovery systems.

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of our IT assets, from procurement and vendor management to deployment and tracking.

  • Lead small to medium-sized IT projects, develop comprehensive documentation, and mentor the IT analysts to foster their growth.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in an IT support or systems administration role, supporting an environment of 200+ users.

  • Expert-level proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows (10/11, Azure AD) and Apple macOS.

  • Proven experience as a Google Workspace administrator.

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).Hands-on experience with endpoint security, firewalls, and data backup solutions.

  • Fluency in English.

Would be a Plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator, Fortinet NSE, ITIL, etc.

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

  • Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., JumpCloud, Jamf, Microsoft Intune).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
