Data Engineering at TRACTIAN

The Data Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that handles massive datasets flowing through TRACTIAN’s systems. This department ensures the availability, scalability, and performance of data pipelines, enabling seamless access and processing of real-time and historical data. The team’s core objective is to architect robust, fault-tolerant data systems that support everything from analytics to machine learning, ensuring that the right data is in the right place, at the right time.


What you'll do

As a Senior DSP Engineer specializing in Vibration Analysis, your primary role will be to develop and implement advanced digital signal processing techniques for analyzing mechanical vibrations. You will play a crucial role in designing systems and algorithms to monitor, analyze, and interpret vibration data, contributing significantly to areas such as predictive maintenance, structural health monitoring, and noise reduction in various mechanical and engineering applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine advanced DSP algorithms for vibration analysis in mechanical and engineering systems.

  • Implement signal processing solutions for real-time vibration monitoring and diagnostic systems.

  • Optimize algorithms for noise reduction, signal enhancement, and fault detection in complex machinery.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate vibration analysis algorithms into various hardware and software systems.

  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, anomalies, and mechanical faults.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in DSP and vibration analysis technologies.

  • Document and report on algorithm development, system performance, and analysis results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on signal processing.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DSP engineering, specifically with a focus on vibration analysis.

  • Proficiency in programming languages used in DSP, such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.

  • Deep understanding of vibration theory and signal processing techniques relevant to vibration analysis.

  • Experience with time-frequency analysis methods and machine diagnostics.

  • Familiarity with hardware and software tools for DSP and data acquisition.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving.
